If Forever Comes (Take This Regret, #2)
A.L. Jackson
Shooting Scars - Karina Halle 4.5 Stars. This book is so well written and filled with interesting characters and a plot that moves smoothly & swiftly. I really loved how Ms. Halle did a wonderful job of making us understand what the character was feeling and see how over time she had to change herself in order to survive.Ms. Halle switches back and forth between Ellie and Camden's POV and she does it fluidly. The switches were perfectly timed to keep you riveted and rushing to get answers to questions as fast as they could pop up. As the story progresses, it becomes an entertaining ride alternating between the characters point of views. 4.5 stars read for me!
Stripped - Jasinda Wilder 1 Star. The story is utterly boring, the characters are even more so. There seemed to be very little character development. And the main female character, Grey, was weak and over dramatic.
The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer - Michelle Hodkin 2 Stars. The story had promise, but ended up being a flop. The entire time I found myself wondering, wanting more. What happened! I want more! More memories! And when we finally get over that hill, finally seeing something worth seeing, it falls flat. AND how is this book considered paranormal? You go the entire book with almost nothing supernatural until the very end and suddenly it's paranormal? W.T.F
Shadowfever (Fever, #5) - Karen Marie Moning 5+++++ Stars. An absolute masterpiece! Loved the whole series. The entire fever series was adventurous and exciting. Great character builds with abundant plot and background. The twists and turns will leave you breathless and Mac becomes the strongest person she could be. Great transformation of all the characters who find their strengths, weaknesses and humanity. The entire book keeps you guessing. Just when you think you've got it all figured out, you're wrong! The story is masterfully presented. It felt like a 20 course meal with exquisite tastes in each delicious bite. Hope Mac and Barrons are back for more! =)
Bloodfever - Karen Marie Moning 5+++ Stars. This book series continues to surprise me.I absolutley loved the unfolding and events in this story, full of supernatural beings, and fae folklore. Found it to be one of those, "I have to finish this book, regardless of the hour of night" books. So, without a break, I've gone on to the next.
Darkfever - Karen Marie Moning 5++ Stars. So i just finished the book last night, finished it in about five hours. This book is a nonstop mystery, from the events that took place to the characters involved. You are on a journey right along with our heroine, trying to put all the clues together, not knowing who is her ally, and who isn't. MacKayla Lane starts out as a simple girl who is looking for answers. Her story draws you in and before you know it your at the end of the book. And I am sooo glad that I started this book with 5 already being published in the series, because the book doesn't actually end with this one.Really good character and plot development and the chemistry between Mac and Barrons is off the charts! I am anxious to continue this journey in the rest of the series. Fun and a fast read. (Thanks Irina for the recommendation!

Reaper's Property (Reapers MC, #1)

Reaper's Property (Reapers MC, #1) - Joanna Wylde 5 Stars. If you like books with extremely hot bikers in it then this is the book for you. Great story kept simple, well written. I literally could not put it down once I had started. Joanna Wylde had a way of describing things that put you 'right there' in the moment seeing everything play out in front of your eyes. It was witty, smooth flowing with just the right touch of snark to keep me smiling throughout. This book has no game-playing, no stupidity, no unnecessary drama, believable issues, and understandable reactions. I loved the characters and there were enough twists and turns that kept me turning the pages, not to mention her talent at writing sex scenes that weren't cliched, crass or prissy. Looking forward to the rest of the bikers stories!

Morning Glory

Morning Glory - La Vyrle Spencer 5++++ Stars.Beautiful story! I would highly recommend.A woman on her own, trying to get by hires a passerby to help out. He's an ex-con, though, and the town folks don't accept him any more easily than they accept Elly. Elly has been a misfit for years, and she and Will become great friends and then lovers. It's a tender, love story, full of hardship and misfortune, but they overcome it. It was a page turner, and never a dull moment. I loved these characters, and even the secondary characters. This is one book where I would not change a thing about it.

Lick (Stage Dive, #1)

Lick - Kylie Scott 1 Star.Really how in the world did this book get so many great reviews. I kept waiting to like this book. And after 1/2 the book and not even remotely liking the main character, then I just kept reading to finish it. This book was horrible, the story line was terrible, the characters were boring and annoying. Shallow character development, major lack of plausibility throughout.Nothing too exciting happens and then the story ends. This entire book falls flat. The way this book was hyped up does not do it justice.
The Storyteller - Jodi Picoult 5++++ Stars.Wow. This is probably one of the best books I've ever read. The Storyteller was a powerful book. A book that stays with the reader for a long loong time. Captured me from the beginning, easy flow to the story, and very well written. Jodi managed to intertwine four characters throughout the book without confusing the reader and the characters were portrayed realistically, with twists here and there in the storyline. The research this girl goes to create a story is truly amazing. She is a freaking genius! It took me longer to read this one because her writing about such a horrific time in human history made me respond on such an emotional level. I totally loved it!Historical fic lovers will definitely appreciate this book. It has enough historical fact and background to make you truly reconsidered in the characters.Would definitely recommend :) Very important message that everyone should read.

Me Before You: A Novel

Me Before You - Jojo Moyes 3.5 stars. This book is not easy to rate. For a while I was enjoying the story, but by the end I was deeply distressed about the moral and ethical implications of the book's ending. On one level it is a great read, on another level, prepare yourself for a serious topic and one that may well leave you angry/depressed/sad or possibly a combination of all three, depending on your own life experiences and/or value system.
An Ordinary Girl - Barbara Elsborg 5 Stars.Rarely does a book appear that makes the reader care so much about the characters and have a storyline that is so compelling. Def love it!
Addicted to You - Krista Ritchie, Becca Ritchie 4.5 Stars. This book is so full of sexual tension and actually brought tears to my eyes once or twice. Definitely worth staying up till 3am to finish and I sooo can't wait for next book to come out!
The Devil's Eyes (The Devil's Eyes #1) - Jennifer Loren DNF at 15%. I can see that a bunch of you really enjoyed this book but I could not even finish it. This book reminded of those juvenile books that you find on wattpad. I felt the story was very choppy and very predictable, the dialogue was pitiful, there was no character development and the plot & pace of the story was all over the place. I cannot believe any readers would give this a good review.
Angelfall (Penryn & the End of Days, #1) - Susan Ee 5+++ Stars. It's simply the best paranormal romance book I've read in years! :D In terms of character, values, and plot, Angelfall wins them all hands down. This has real suffering, full of instances and scenes that will make your heart cry out, sharing in the pain of the main characters. The plot is equally incredible!!It is no doubt one of the best of this genre that I’ve ever had the utmost pleasure to read.

Beauty from Surrender (Beauty, #2)

Beauty from Surrender (Beauty, #2) - Georgia Cates 2 Stars. It is awful. Not as good as the first book. I am about 85% done with this book...and the only reason I haven't given up on it completely is because I somewhat want to know what happens in the end. I couldn't connect with this character in ANY way, and the whole thing just felt rushed. Every single page of this book was just a pure disappointment for me. No heartbeat, no Esprit, just words without feelings.
