If Forever Comes (Take This Regret, #2)
A.L. Jackson
Out of Breath (Breathing, #3) - Rebecca Donovan 2.5 Stars.I really enjoy this author and have been waiting for this book to come out. To be honest, it is no way as good as the previous released. This one just wasn't up to mark compared to the others, and it not up to Ms Rebecca usual standard of editing or story telling. While it still makes for a sweet love story, I felt that the characters were not as strong as they were in the previous book. The book was dragged out a bit and somewhat lacking in terms of the plot. It was hard to get myself involved in the book like I usually do. It was an okay read but I wasn't at all impressed with it.
The Sheik Retold - Victoria Vane, Edith Maude Hull 3.5 Stars.I really did like it, but I just couldn't bring myself to love it. I really felt like something was off some how and the story was a bit rushed.Kinda disappointed..I guess I expected more, and it didn't deliver.

Don't Make Me Beautiful

Don't Make Me Beautiful - Elle Casey 5 Stars. This book was spell binding and very good.Wonderfully written, suspenseful, emotional, intense, heartfelt, these are just some of the words that come into mind after reading this book. This is such a riveting story that keeps you wanting more and more page after page. It involves you in the lives of the characters making you want to be part of the story and take action.I felt the pain, held my breath during some parts, and felt joy during other parts. It brought out a range of emotions. I enjoyed this story, which can be all too real when it comes to domestic abuse and the pain suffered in silence by many who rarely get to tell their story. The writing painted a picture of the horrifying life this woman was stuck in. It makes you thankful for the life you have and it breaks your heart that people have to go through abusive situations like that. This book has the potential of a new way of looking at life. An amazing book!If you like a good romance with mystery and intrigue thrown in as well, you will like this book.

Fixed on You (Fixed #1)

Fixed on You - Laurelin Paige 4 Stars.Have never had the urge to read this type of book. I really got interested in it and enjoy the entire story. The book doesn't sugar coat anything and the characters react in ways that are very realistic for someone in their situation.

Brie Learns the Art of Submission: Submissive Training Center

Brie Learns the Art of Submission: Submissive Training Center - Red Phoenix 5 Stars.
The Storyteller - Antonia Michaelis 5 Stars.Great characters, plot development, and wonderful suspense. Slow at first but as the story progresses it becomes a page turner waiting and wanting to see what happens next. It was well told and engrossing tale with a giant twist in the tail. Well..I was a bit dissapointed in the ending, but still loved this book!Mystery and romantic fiction lovers will definitely love this one.
Heaven is for Real: A Little Boy's Astounding Story of His Trip to Heaven and Back - Todd Burpo, Lynn Vincent 5 Stars.I read this book about a year ago. Wonderfull story. Written in a very simple but yet strong feelings involved. I recommend it to all my family and friends. Really makes you think about what is in store for us at the end. Simply amazing!

Otherwise Occupied

Otherwise Occupied - Shay Savage 3.5 Stars.Well.. it's not a bad story but a little twisted. I never felt a connection to the characters, it did leave me feeling totally confused and conflicted. Honestly not sure how I feel about this book.

Seize Me (Breakneck, #1)

Seize Me (Breakneck, #1) - Crystal Spears 1 Star.I really disliked every character in this book. The male character, Braxxon, is a douchebag, selfish and man-whore. Worst Hero ever. Not to mention his overuse of the phrase "my angel"-Argh! It's annoying! And Winter is just bloody fool and 'insane', I found zero redeeming qualities about her. Gummy bears? Seriously?? Ohmygod...*facepalm* I caught myself rolling my eyes at times because of how ridiculous the dialogue got. And there were so many moments throughout the story that I wanted to punch both Winter and Braxxon, unfortunately I couldn't reach into my Kindle and do that.

Good - S. Walden 1.5 Stars. The main character, Cadence, is whiny, manipulative, insecure and over dramatic. She complains too much and can be very annoying. Then to add into it, I hate cliffhanger (pun intended) endings, this one especially pissed me off.

Otherwise Alone

Otherwise Alone - Shay Savage 3 Stars. It was sort of too short. But, the story was a good one and one that I enjoyed.
Craving Constellations (The Aces, #1) - Nicole Jacquelyn 4 Stars.I really enjoyed this book. Everything was written with true perception of emotions. I fell in love with the characters, and I could see the love and feel the magic in a child. Would highly recommend it!

Archangel's Kiss (Guild Hunter Series #2)

Archangel's Kiss - Nalini Singh 3 Stars.I did like this one but there is something about it that I can't quite put my finger on as to why it's not great to me. I loved the first book. I absolutely still love the main characters. But I think this one was more of a "filler book" and alot of times I don't do well with those.

Angels' Blood - Nalini Singh 4 Stars.Book is well written and characters are easy to understand. I enjoy Ms. Singh's writing style and am pleased that she remained consistent with character development, detail, plot and emotion. It wasn't overtly sexual but instead it was sexy. I liked the humor she has in her books as well as tension between the characters. I look forward to the next book in the series and hoping some of the characters in the book will get romances of their own. :)
